My students had their choice of baking a cake or putting them into cupcakes. They then decorated them with butter-cream frosting. I was so impressed with the student who created this! She spent the whole class period working very hard. The final product was exceptional! Good work Katie!! :-)

Skippy (the bigger dog of the two) jumped up at me when I was bent over, taking the leash off of Mimi when I let them back inside after work. It actually was bleeding!

January 9 - 9/365

We went to JoAnn Fabrics, Steve picked out fabric and I sewed him a warm fuzzy blanket.  Miss Mimi really liked it.

One more neat photo I wanted to add today.  Blissful Bath had their oops sale today.  I got 25 bath bombs!

January 8 - 8/365

Pumping gas after work was very chilly.  This is not with the windchill.

January 7 - 7/365

Skippy likes to hop in the bath tub, any chance he gets.  He loves water.

 January 6 - 6/365

I decided to take a warm bath with candle light.  So relaxing!

January 5 - Melting Icicle

Today I was home with a sinus infection.  I let the dogs out mid-morning, which I never usually get to do.  That was when I noticed an enormous icicle with the sunshine twinkling through it, coming out of the eave spout.

January 4 - Miss Mimi

Today Miss Mimi knew I had to back to work; she tried everything she could to keep me home.  When I finally came home from work, she was very very excited!

January 3, 2010

This temped my nose all day long in the crock-pot.  We put in a pork roast, added thyme, garlic, onion, salt and pepper.  At the end we added celery.  We boiled the carrots, then added butter, 1 tbsp chives, salt and pepper.  It was delicious.

January 2, 2010 - Laundry Day

2/365 - After being away from home for about a week and a half, we had lots and lots of laundry to do when we got home. I sorted the clothes, only to find a short while later, Mr. Skippy had found a sock and took it out of the sorted laundry.

January 1, 2010 - Remembering Christmas

1/365 - With the temperature being -24, without the wind chill, I didn't plan on leaving the house. I was enjoying the Christmas lights, after Christmas. We were gone most of the holiday season and did not get to enjoy our decorations. I think we will be leaving them up for a little while longer.
